Drug trafficking from Mexico to the United States through increased

MEXICO CITY (SUN) Drug trafficking from Mexico to the United States
through increased ultralight aircraft in the last six months,
reported the U.S. Congress.
A report states that local border authorities, state and federal
agencies have documented more than 200 incidents in less than six
months.
In California comes to register up to four cases a day of air traffic.
Sen. Dean Heller said these aircraft are used to be cheap, relatively
quiet and for flying without lights. He added that they can escape
radar and release the cargo without landing on US soil.
Last week the Senate approved raising penalties for those who
trafficked drugs by such means as they were lower than those who
traffic drugs via trucks.

Pinal County deputies arrested four people after a routine traffic
stop led to the seizure of guns, stolen identification documents, and
crystal meth, officials said.
According to the Pinal County Sheriff's Office, a Nissan Altima was
stopped about 8:30 p.m. Sunday on the U.S. 60, near mile post 215,
after a deputy checked the vehicle's registration and discovered it
was not cleared for highway use.
Authorities said the driver of the car, 30-year-old Alejandro Torrez
of Avondale, told the deputy his license was suspended and that he
had recently purchased the car, but had not yet registered it in his
name.
Officials said Kellsi Bryan, 20, of Winkelman, was carrying a .22
caliber handgun in her purse. According to a news release, a digital
scale, two pipes, and several bags of crystal meth were also found in
Bryan's possession.
Deputies said passenger Jorge Espinosa, 34, a resident of Mexico, was
found to be in the country illegally. Officials said a 9mm handgun
was found in the seat pocket in front of where Espinosa was sitting.
Authorities said he was turned over to Immigrations and Custom
Enforcement for processing.
A fourth passenger, Marlene Contreras, 34, was also found with one
ounce of crystal meth in her possession, officials said. Contreras
told deputies Torrez ordered her to conceal the drugs, and that he
had given the handgun to Bryan because he wasn't allowed to legally
have it.
Deputies said that while searching the car's trunk, several stolen
passports, five stolen credit cards, and several pieces of U.S. mail,
not belonging to anyone in the car, were discovered.
Authorities said two of the items were traced back to a recent
Phoenix burglary.

Hermosillo, Sonora (PH) An economic flow in the Sonoran territory of
about $ 20 million is estimated in this hunting season, said the head
of the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources, Fisheries and
Aquaculture (SAGARHPA) .

(UMA), so they can make a sustainable use of game species and have an
extra income they get from livestock. "
He added that the State of Sonora ranks first nationally with 38% of
the territory Sonoran registered under sustainable management for the
use of wild species, and currently have a thousand 512 (UMA)
locations, with a area approved of 6.8 million hectares.

Halla la Policía a mujer degollada en Nogales

NOGALES, Sonora(PH)Con las manos atadas hacia atrás, degollada, con
huellas de tortura y semidesnuda fue encontrado el cuerpo sin vida de
una mujer, la cual fue localizada en la parte posterior de un bar
fuera de servicio en Nogales, Sonora.
De acuerdo al informe de Seguridad Pública, fue a las 10:55 horas de
ayer, cuando alertaron al C4, que en la avenida Plutarco Elías
Calles, a espaldas de lo que fue el bar Titanic, estaba el cadáver de
una persona.
Elementos de la Policía Estatal Investigadora (PEI) acudieron al
lugar donde localizaron a la víctima que era de complexión regular,
tez morena, de alrededor de 25 años, la cual traía tenis negros, sin
blusa y con pantalón de mezclilla azul.
La mujer, que hasta el cierre de la edición no había sido
identificada por las autoridades, estaba amarrada de las manos hacia
atrás, tenía varias heridas punzocortantes en el cuerpo, degollada y
con golpes en el rostro.
Según el personal de Servicios Periciales de la Procuraduría Genera
de Justicia del Estado, la persona ya tenía varios días de haber
fallecido por el estado de descomposición en que fue encontrada.
En las proximidades del cadáver, las autoridades investigadoras
localizaron un bolso de mujer con pertenencias presuntamente de la
víctima.
Al lugar acudió el agente del Ministerio Público del Fuero Común, el
cual dio fe de los hechos y orde nó que el cuerpo fuera levantado y
trasladado a una funeraria donde se le aplicará la autopsia requerida

HERMOSILLO, Sonora(PH)Un agente de la Policía Municipal de Cajeme fue
ultimado a balazos dentro de la barandilla de la Comisaría de
Providencia en hechos ocurridos la noche del martes, informó el
vocero de la Procuraduría General de Justicia del Estado (PGJE).
José Larrinaga Talamantes señaló que la víctima fue identificada como
José Roberto García Guerrero, de 33 años de edad, quien se encontraba
en el área de barandilla en la Comisaría de Providencia cuando
recibió impactos de un arma larga, tipo AK 47 también conocida como
"cuerno de chivo".
Explicó que García Guerrero se encontraba en turno y estaba solo en
la base y sin armas, cuando dos hombres ingresaron al lugar y
comenzaron a disparar; en el lugar se encontraron 19 casquillos
percutidos.
El incidente ocurrió alrededor de las 21:15 horas del martes, dijo, y
más tarde, agentes del departamento de Periciales de la Procuraduría
llegaron a realizar los trabajos de medición e investigación,
levantar el cuerpo y llevarlo al Centro de Integración de Justicia en
Ciudad Obregón.
Testigos en el lugar afirmaron que los dos presuntos responsables del
homicidio huyeron de la comisaría en una Dodge Ram color blanca.
La Secretaría de Seguridad Publica de Cajeme indicó, por medio de un
boletín, que el agente tenía fecha de ingreso a la corporación el 27
de abril de 1998 con trece años de servicio.
El cuerpo del agente fue velado ayer y en la Secretaría de Seguridad
Publica se le rindieron honores.

El tráfico de drogas de México a Estados Unidos por medio de aviones
ultraligeros aumentó en los últimos seis meses, reportó el Congreso
estadounidense.

medio de aviones ultraligeros aumentó en los últimos seis meses,
reportó el Congreso estadounidense.
En un informe señala que autoridades fronterizas locales, estatales y
federales han documentado más de 200 incidentes en menos de seis meses.
En California llegan a registrarse hasta cuatro casos diarios de
tráfico vía aérea.
El senador republicano Dean Heller señaló que estas aeronaves son
utilizadas por ser baratas, relativamente silenciosas y por volar sin
necesidad de luces. Agregó que pueden evadir radares y soltar la
carga, sin aterrizar en suelo de EU.
La semana pasada el Senado aprobó elevar penas para quien trafique
droga por ese medio, ya que eran menores a las que reciben quienes
trafican vía carros.
