With the participation of representatives of emergency corporations
from northern Sonora and southern Arizona, the border was the site of
the meeting of the commission the Border 20-12.

The event took place at the premises of the Fire Station 1 and was
present staff of municipalities as Imuris, Cananea, Magdalena, Santa
Ana, Puerto Peñasco and from the United States side were
representatives from Nogales, Arizona, Rio Rico and Tubac, in
addition to local authorities in the Mexican Red Cross and Federal
Police.

It was a day of activities where the main topic was a training course
knowledge of incident command system, but at the response of the last
meetings, the State Civil Protection, proposed meetings are given on
this side of the border because of the impossibility more
participants to cross the international border.

Therefore, to endorse the event was attended by U.S. authorities and
by the Mexican side was attended by the town clerk, Bernardo Silva
Garcia, the state coordinator of Civil Protection Unit, Rubén Gracia
Rodrigo Rosas; In addition, the local deputy Moses Diaz Casal.

Manuel Hernandez Dominguez, commander and chief of the Volunteer Fire
Department hosted the event and stressed the importance of such
meetings and that information is shared here contributes to better
performance in the functions for the benefit of the community.

He noted that the next meeting will be held in Sonoita, Sonora, where
he intends to have a large supply of emergency items since the
intention is to perfect care issues to people in emergencies.
