Seizures made by military personnel jurisdictions to 8 / a. Military
Zone December 31, 2011 to January 6, 2012.

The Ministry of National Defense through the Commander of the Fourth
Military Region, informs the public that military jurisdiction and
reinforcement of the 8 / a. Military Zone in the Comprehensive
Strategy framework of the Mexican state against Drug Trafficking and
Organized Crime in the period from December 31, 2011 to January 6,
2012, during ground operations in the towns of Nuevo Laredo, Miguel
Aleman , Reynosa, Rio Bravo, Matamoros, Ciudad Victoria, Tampico,
Tamaulipas. and along the banks of the Rio Bravo, (Rio Grande) the
following results:

The concept is that marijuana taken (1540.262 kg) and 328 doses of
marijuana, would have produced 770.459 doses (given that a kilo
obtained 500 doses of 2 grams each), same to be sold at retail for $
100.00 ( one hundred pesos) per dose, would have obtained an
approximate amount of $ 77,045,900.00 (seventy-seven million forty-
five thousand nine hundred dollars MN) 128 grams of powder cocaine,
193 doses of powder cocaine, 91 doses of crack cocaine and 610 grams
of glass had been produced 1.022 dose, which sold them retail at $
150.00 (one hundred fifty pesos) per dose was obtained by an
approximate amount of $ 153,300.00 (one hundred fifty three thousand
three hundred pesos).

The drug, prisoners were secured and made available to the relevant
authorities.

law to safeguard and protect the population, making rational use of
force to preserve the lives and human rights of people
