CULIACÁN._ As the drug business a crime much persecuted by the
authorities, trafficking or trafficking is the next most likely
illegal business growth, said the president of America Making a
Difference, Rosi Orozco.

And Sinaloa said, is no exception, as they live in a state of
absolute impunity which is still observed in daily newspapers and
offer ads that sell sexual slavery to the highest bidder.

The former federal Deputy alerted to the existence of a network of
traffickers who spent more than five years operating in the state and
which undoubtedly have managed to steal younger girls and to be moved
to other cities, as the case of a young Sinaloa girl 17 years who was
rescued from La Merced after years of being mistreated.

"Impunity in this crime, for example in Sinaloa, is absolute, there
is no one in jail for trafficking or right?, This means that in this
state who are engaged in this are better off selling human beings
than to sell drugs. "

He noted that much of this impunity is that the general public and
those who are and have been victims of this crime, do not know who or
which authorities seek to be heard, because they fear being found by
their perpetrators or because do not have enough security.

Orozco explained that according to studies and research conducted by
Professor Dr. Arun Kumar and the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon,
Sinaloa has become a place of origin, transit and destination for
trafficking in persons for sexual and labor.

According to academic research of Indian origin, Perspectives of
Human Trafficking in Mexico, An Analysis of This Phenomenon Entity by
Entity introduced last year, the entity no specific legislation on
the scourge but no measures to prevent and combat to trafficking,
Sinaloa Togetherwith are in this same situation Baja California Sur,
Nuevo Leon, Puebla, San Luis Potosi, Tabasco, Tamaulipas and Tlaxcala.

Human trafficking is an issue that has been forgotten in Sinaloa,
Orozco said, because they are not doing or creating public policy
proposals to stop a crime that is latent.

"By allowing this as a society, we are allowing tomorrow their own
children, their own children end up in those hands," said the leader
of States Making a Difference.

The activist said the ads take sexual exploitation of state
newspapers is one of the first steps that should be taken into
account for the elimination of trafficking in persons, as it is
believed that in Sinaloa as in other states , is being offered to
children by this alarm class.

"It is very difficult in KZ4 going to put a 12 year old girl standing
there in one of those red light house, but if there usual client
become known, then we will offer more perverse things," he said.

Calls upon the authorities to take action

While he said that the sensitivity of the governor, Mario Lopez
Valdez to these issues is palpable, urged his government, the
municipal president and candidates seeking a position for the next
election to show an actual interest in this problem.

"Those who want to rule today, who want to be mayors today who want
to be members to tell us what they should do about the issue of
trafficking, how they will address this issue and what actions they
will take and they will do for you Sinaloa is up in this crime, "he said
