Civil disarmament campaign begins in Ahome

Los Mochis, Sinaloa.- The City of Ahome and the Government of the State started here the seventeenth Permanent Firearms Donation Campaign.
The campaign began on Monday and will end on December 19 right on the steps of the Municipal Palace and is intended to remove from the streets and homes, firearms and conventional warfare ammunition in exchange for money and laptops.
The secretary of the commune, Andrés Estrada Orozco started the campaign officially taking as witnesses the First Captain of the Infantry, Juan José Goicochea Calderón on behalf of the Mexican Army and Juan Pablo Peñuelas Cota, State Coordinator of the Campaign and representative of the Public Security System of Sinaloa, as well as Vicente López Fuentes, alderman President of the Government Commission of the Cabildo de Ahome.
"And to motivate the public, the City of Ahome initially contributes 150 thousand pesos to this campaign to provide economic incentives of 1000 pesos ($48USD) for weapons allowed and 2,500 pesos ($120 USD) for those firearms exclusively for the use of the Army and the Armed Forces, or a laptop computer, "said Estrada Orozco.
For his part, the representative of the Government of Sinaloa and Coordinator of the Campaign, Juan Pablo Peñuelas, said that it is very motivating to have the support of the Government of Ahome and the mayor Manuel Guillermo Chapman Moreno, "who immediately gave instruction and provided all the I support so that here, in Ahome,

He recognized that the Permanent Volunteer Firearms Donation Campaign of Ahome is an example in Sinaloa,
