Paris • As part of the new stage of relations that raised the
President of France, François Hollande, and President-elect, Enrique
Peña agreed to share information for Mexico to define a framework for
the national gendarmerie.

"I have asked the president of France for its cooperation, its
government, to find their own design to the national gendarmerie have

A growing number of employees who launder money, working in banks,
brokerage firms, insurance companies, operate as art dealers, auto
dealers, etc.

MEXICO CITY. - In the past three years, the number of professional
money launderers in the companies where they work grew 30% and
although most financial institutions operating in, more and more
sectors are detected in these cases, rector of the College presented
the lawyer, Jorge Manrique.

As stated, the professionals who work in banks launder money,
brokerage houses, insurance and real estate, among others, but now
operate as art dealers, auto dealers, service providers or
professionals in the hotel industry and tourism.

"By his knowledge, relationships and appearance are criminals
mimetics that thrive in business, political and social but perform
illicit generate economic instability, social, fiscal and monetary,"
he said.

In a statement, detailing that such employees have more than five
years in their jobs, occupy a position of trust and play multiple
roles, plus they do not take holidays or delegate work.

These people hurt the organizations that they infiltrate, to involve
them in legal trouble or general bad reputation, operational risk and
credit concentration, among other negative consequences, warns Manrique.

The day before, the Treasury Department reported that the country is
estimated that the amount of money laundering amounting to nearly 10
billion dollars a year, while in the world's total sum of laundered
funds could vary between 2.0 and 5.0% Gross domestic product,
according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
