PHOENIX - Authorities are looking for the public's help to identify three suspects who stole dozens of guns from a Phoenix pawn shop this week.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is working with the Phoenix Police Department to locate and arrest the three men.
According to a news release from ATF, approximately 36 handguns were taken from EZ Money Pawn near 27th and Glendale avenues early Monday morning. ATF says the burglary happened between 1:30 and 4:30 a.m. when the three suspects forced their way into the store through the roof, making four trips to remove the weapons.

Stolen firearms for us would definitely be a risk for transportation to Mexico," said ATF Special Agent in Charge Bernard Zapor. Zapor said there's a big reason ATF is involved in a pawn store robbery. "It's a big concern for us because right now there is a civil war happening in the Mexican drug cartels, some power positioning, things like that," he said.

ATF is offering a $5,000 reward to add to $1,000 being offered by Silent Witness for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.

Anyone with information related to the theft of the firearms is urged to contact Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or online at silentwitness.org .
