SONORA STATE POLICE CAPTURE  8 PEOPLE, TACTICAL EQUIPMENT AND FIREARMS

In intelligence work, yesterday elements of Public Safety State Police (PESP)  captured eight perps,  guns, cartridges, drug and tactical equipment in the La Huerta area of the city of Hermosillo.


This is Luis Eduardo Cadena González, Héctor Gallego Alan Gonzalez, Jose Juan Espinoza Carrillo, Omar Salazar Vázquez, Maribel Torres Tovar, Teresita Rodriguez Salcido, Madero Gregorio Torres Trujillo and Luis Ricardo Tapia.

PESP Agents conducted the special operation in response to a citizen complaint where gunmen reported, derived from the police strategy is managed to capture the aforementioned subjects, seizing a 9mm handgun and a long gun .223 mm caliber carbine type .

The incident took place around 20:30 pm in Narciso Mendoza Street between April 14 and from the Americas in the La Huerta when they saw two women and two men were in suspiciously outside the two vehicles reported .

Upon approaching the car, the men tried to escape, but were intercepted and they were also able to capture the crew of the Jeep wagon,  Cherokee and Chevrolet Silverado.

Luis Eduardo González Cadena 39-year-old was driving the van and who was found tucked into the waist a handgun 9mm caliber, with a mag and 8 rounds of ammunition.

The driver Alan Gallegos accompanied him Hector Gonzalez and Jose Juan Espinoza Carrillo of 28 and 35 years old respectively, the latter was seized several bank cards.

Inside the vehicle Jeep Cherokee found a rifle, .223 mm caliber carbine type with a cartridge in the chamber helpful and supplied with 20-round magazine, also seized a cooler where he had 84 wrappers with green herb similar to marijuana.

Inside the trunk located a suitcase containing 32 cartridges of various calibers, 2 radios, one weighing gram scale, one knife, one crusher with white powder residue similar to cocaine and tactical equipment.

He said one pair of boots, 2 pants, 1 shirt, 1 hat 1 balaclava and camouflage type.

Later the Chevrolet pick-up truck was driven by Omar Salazar Vázquez 36 years of age who was seized two bundles containing white powder cocaine physical characteristics.

Because of this the four subjects were immediately arrested, also made sure the four people who talked and tried to escape at the time of the facts, being identified as Maribel Torrres Tovar and Teresita Rodriguez Salcido of 35 and 36 years old with Madero Gregorio Torres Ricardo Trujillo and Luis Tapia of 38 and 18, respectively.

Later in the operating system it was found that Gonzalez has a criminal record chain for breach of family obligations and damages, Salazar Vázquez for breach of trust, Madero Trujillo for vehicle theft and damage, while Alan Gallegos Hector Gonzales on charges of robbery, murder Simple intentional, federal offenses and theft of vehicles

PESP Agents seized the matter brought by the subjects, which were transferred to the Public Prosecutor of the Common Jurisdiction to continue with the investigations.

Al cargo de Secretaria de Seguridad Interna de los Estados Unidos.

Como lamentable calificó el sheriff Marco Antonio Estrada la renuncia de Janet Napolitano al cargo de Secretaria de Seguridad Interna de los Estados Unidos, al señalar que esta comunidad fronteriza perdió una aliada que siempre le dio voz, a nivel federal, a la problemática que aqueja a la región.
"Es muy lamentable, es una gran pérdida, pues es una persona con mucha experiencia en el tema de la frontera, muy preparada, muy eficiente, muy accesible, nos va a hacer mucha falta en el gobierno federal, la vamos a extrañar", comentó el sheriff Estrada al señalar que, durante sus cuatro años dentro del gabinete del presidente Barack Obama, estuvo muy ligada al Condado de Santa Cruz.
Mencionó que, con su renuncia, esta región fronteriza pierde a una aliada, quien siempre le dio voz a la problemática de la región, desde que era procuradora y gobernadora de Arizona. Incluso, destacó que Napolitano vistió más veces Nogales, Arizona, como funcionaria federal, que la actual gobernadora de Arizona, Jan Brewer, quien "sólo ha visitado esta frontera una vez y lo hizo en helicóptero".
Aunque dijo desconocer y respetar las causas de su renuncia, para el sheriff Estrada la presión de la política disfuncional que se vive en Washington, sobre todo alrededor del tema migratorio y la seguridad fronteriza, tuvo que haber jugado un rol fundamental en esta decisión.
"Respeto mucho su decisión, y no la culpo si esto tuvo algo que ver, porque nunca le dieron su lugar a sus esfuerzos y conocimientos sobre la frontera y la seguridad", destacó el jefe policiaco quien siempre mantuvo una relación cercana y directa con Napolitano.
