The clash in Colonia 6 de Enero this morning began when an armed group tried to rescue a man that agents of the State Preventive Police had arrested.
According to sources of the State Government after the confrontation, four AK 47 rifles were confiscated, a grenade launcher attachment,
more than 30 magazines for rifle and handgun, five tactical vests and a communication radio.
According to the data, the PEP agents detained a man with a firearm after a chase in the colony on January 6.
When they transferred him to the facilities of the corporation, an armed group intercepted the convoy in which they were carrying the detainee.
The civilians tried to rescue the detainee and shooting started.
The criminals could not rescue the detainee and fled the place.
The detainee will be placed at the disposition of the Attorney General of the Republic.
