The organizers of the Caravan of Central American migrants that travels Mexico said Monday that they are a pretext for the agenda of the president of the United States, Donald Trump.

"Simply (Trump) is using the movement, the caravan, as a pretext," Rodrigo Abeja, one of the organizers of the movement, told AFP.

Bee added that the decision on DACA, a protection program for migrants who arrived in the United States as children that Trump repealed and now says "is dead," was already taken.
"It's a simulation to blame," he said.

For the second consecutive day, the US president turned to the Twitter network on Monday to criticize Mexico and the caravan called "Viacrucis Migrante 2018".

"Mexico has absolute power not to let that huge 'caravan' of people enter our country, they must stop it on its northern border," the president wrote on Twitter, a day after he accused Mexico of doing "very little".

According to Abeja, the caravan, currently formed by some 1,200 people as nearly 300 of them went ahead, is in the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca, and seeks to reach the central state of Puebla.

"From April 5 to 8 there will be a legal team with immigration experts from Mexico and the United States who will provide information and legal advice to people who are in a position to request asylum or refuge in Mexico or the United States," said the organizer.

Trump's irritation was concentrated in the caravan integrated by Central American migrants, which left on March 26 from the Mexican city of Tapachula, bordering Guatemala, to the border with the United States.

The march carries the slogan "We are all Native Americans," and with that caravan women, men and children from Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua seek to exhibit the ordeals they suffer during their passage through Mexico.
