Catch seven suspects 'Templars' in Guerrero

The Army stopped on 16 October to 7 alleged members of "The Knights
Templar", during a confrontation they had with "The Family", the
Department of Defense reported Tuesday.

Guerrero • Elements of the Mexican Army arrested seven alleged
members of the criminal organization known as "The Knights Templar",
during a clash between gangs in Cutzamala de Pinzon, Guerrero.
The arrest took place on 16 October, as revealed today the
Secretariat of National Defense said in a statement.
The agency explained that three of the detainees said they kept a
clash with suspected members of "The Family". In addition, security
personnel identified as a regional leader and a lieutenant of "The
Knights Templar".
In the same area, but at a site as safe house, four others were secured.
The detainees, including a minor, were identified as:
Camacho Jesus Espinoza, alias "Parotas"
Agustin Gaona Villegas, alias "La Perra"
Oscar Hernandez Garcia, alias "La Michelada"
Alfredo Ramirez Ramirez, alias "The Puppy"
Landin Teodoro Torres, alias "The Worm"
Samuel Gomez Martinez, alias "Zipimo"
The Department of Defense reported that also seized $200,520 USD, and
70,500 pesos
17 rifles,
13 handguns,
six hand grenades,
63 40mm grenades,
magazines and cartridges,
and vehicles, drugs and radio equipment.
Both detainees were secured as made available to the Public
Prosecutor.
