More migrants arrive to Mexicali

MEXICALI, Baja California (GH)
About 15 buses with an approximate of 761 people from the Migrant Caravan entered Baja California today, arriving in the municipality of Mexicali.
According to data from the federal police, the buses arrived in two groups, one of eight units around 11:30 am yesterday,
and another group with seven units around 3:00 am today.
According to the current information of the Secretariat of Social Development of the State (Sedesoe),
only in the Castillo Amarillo shelter of Colonia Abasolo a total of 790 migrants have already been installed,
including 147 women, 68 minors and 575 men,
mainly from Honduras and El Salvador, although there are also people from Nicaragua, Guatemala, Mexico and Venezuela.
Yesterday afternoon the authorities indicated the presence of 1 thousand 800 migrants of Central American origin in Mexicali,
to which the group is added to this morning.
