Note: so, who is doing all the homicides in El Salvador ?
Hint: probably not the Chinese or the Russians.
Bringing their dysfunctional violent culture to the USA.
Gracias

San Salvador, El Salvador.-

El Salvador questioned on Tuesday a migration agreement reached between the United States and Mexico
that seeks to curb the migratory flows that come, mostly, from the Central American region
and that have angered US President Donald Trump.

The agreement includes the deployment of Mexican troops on the border with Guatemala,
expanding a program under which migrants seeking asylum in the United States await the process in Mexican territory,
among other measures promised by the government of Andrés Manuel López Obrador to avoid tariffs of 5% proposed by Trump.

"Mexico has negotiated only bilaterally, but has stated that Central America is on board,
we are almost like a bargaining chip in these negotiations,"
said El Salvador's vice president, Felix Ulloa, at a public event.

"(The agreement) will have consequences, not only humanitarian, but at the level of regional policy,"
the authority added.
The flows of Central American migrants fleeing violence and poverty
to the United States have increased in recent months.
In May, the number of people detained on the US-Mexico border reached its monthly maximum in more than a decade.

In 2018, the homicide rate in El Salvador was 50.3 per 100 thousand inhabitants,
one of the highest levels in the world, according to the United Nations (UN).

El Salvadoran President Blames his own Country for Border Tragedy, not Trump

El Salvador's president took responsibility for the deaths of a father and daughter duo who drowned while attempting to cross the Rio Grande river.

The president stated that it is the El Salvadoran government's responsibility to make the country safer.

According to Fox News:
The new president of El Salvador on Monday took responsibility for the June deaths of a father and daughter
who drowned crossing the Rio Grande in a bid to reach the United States, saying the onus is on his government to make the country a safer place —
and one where migration is "an option, not an obligation."

President Nayib Bukele, who took office a month ago with the promise of making El Salvador a safer and better place,
told the BBC in an interview published Monday his country is to blame for the deaths.
He said his government is responsible for fixing the problems that have forced hundreds of thousands of people to flee in the first place.

"People don't flee their homes because they want to, people flee their homes because they feel they have to," Bukele told the BBC.
"Why? Because they don't have a job, because they are being threatened by gangs,
because they don't have basic things like water, education, health."

He continued: "We can blame any other country but what about our blame?
What country did they flee? Did they flee the United States?
They fled El Salvador, they fled our country. It is our fault."

A photograph of the tragedy angered and shocked the world last month.
The crisis is real and the more people that begin to take responsibility will hopefully lead to a quicker solution and end to the crisis.
