They also display weapons, cartridges and drugs seized in Sahuaripa, Sonora.

Members of the Security Bureau for the Construction of Peace exhibited yesterday at the facilities of the 24th Infantry Battalion,
four armored vehicles seized in the municipality of Sahuaripa.

The event exhibited modifications to the armor, suspension, braking, cooling and bodywork systems,
carried out by members of organized crime to circulate through all types of terrain.

The ammunition and confiscated drugs were also presented in the same operation,
among which 2,300 50-caliber cartridges,
440 long-arm cartridges,
seven AK 47 rifle magazines,
in addition to marijuana.

Based on information from the Ministry of National Defense (Sedena), on July 31 elements of the Fourth Military Zone
in coordination with agents of the State Public Security Police (PESP),
carried out the operation in which they seized the vehicles, ammunition and drugs.

It highlights the seizure of a white Ford, F250 pick up, a green Grand Cherokee;
a gray Cherokee with a roof structure to support heavy armament,
as well as a Chevrolet pick up with armor and modifications made by hand, which was cloned from the PESP.

As the first respondent, elements of the State Public Security Police came,
all being available to the Public Ministry for the corresponding legal inquiries.
